The UNL Faculty Jazz Ensemble performs original new works and innovative arrangements of jazz classics every semester in The Glenn Korff School of Music's Westbrook Recital Hall. The ensemble is led by pianist/composer Tom Larson and also features Dr. Paul Harr (sax/composer), Dr. Darryl White (trumpet/composer), Dr. Greg Simon (trumpet/composer), Dr. Peter Bouffard (guitar/composer), Dr. Dave Hall (drums), Dr. Suna Gunther (vocals/sax), and Dr. Hans Sturm (bass/composer).
Included in this program were new original works by group members Tom Larson and Darryl White, as well compositions by saxophonists Wayne Shorter, Jerry Bergonzi, and Andrew Janak.
