Latin Jazz Conspiracy will celebrate International Jazz Day in the Courtyard of the Portsmouth Virginia Art & Cultural Center on Saturday, 30 April 2022 from 10am to 12pm. The performance will present a variety of contemporary and traditional styles ranging from bolero, samba, cha-cha, bossa nova and to include performance of many Latin Jazz standards like Manteca by Dizzy Gillespie, Song for My Father by Horace Silver, Caravan by Duke Ellington, and Mambo Influenciado by Chuco Valdes. Latin Jazz Conspiracy is based in Southeastern Virginia in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area and is an eight-piece group led by Eric Musselwhite on saxophone, Jordan Ponzi on bass, and Ernesto Laboy on Latin Percussion. https://www.latinjazzconspiracy.com/
