2022 New York International Youth Jazz Festival – Jazz meets Eastern Intangible Cultural Heritage

Sino-American Culture & Arts Foundation kicks off its first International Youth Jazz Festival as a tribute to the International Jazz Day. The event brings together youth communities from both New York and China to celebrate Jazz and learn its history together with appreciation of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. The festival lines up a spectacular program showcasing the Jazz Music fusing eastern arts including but not limited to Chinese martial arts (Tai Chi), Chinese arts and crafts featuring performances by artists from both New York and China specially young jazz musicians in the Great New York area. There will be virtual dialogues from masters jazz musicians to share their great experience with the young upcoming jazz musicians.
