La musica avrà un significato simbolico: il progetto di Francesco Chiapperini "On
The Bare Rocks and Glaciers" si rifà esplicitamente al mondo alpino, inteso come
paesaggio ma soprattutto come pensiero forte di un mondo proiettato verso il
cielo.
Il sestetto allestito dal clarinettista, cinque strumenti a fiato e violino, spazia tra
brani originali e la rielaborazione di composizioni che fanno della montagna la
protagonista delle note. La musica che ne deriva si prefigge di ricreare l’organicità
di un coro, quello degli alpini, e questa coralità viene percorsa, stravolta e
rimaneggiata a favore dei temi popolari che cantano le gesta degli uomini che
vissero, e anche vi combatterono, sulle montagne.

Music will have a symbolic meaning: Francesco Chiapperini's project “On The Bare Rocks and Glaciers” refers explicitly to the Alpine world, understood as landscape but above all as a strong thought of a world projected towards the sky.

The sextet set up by the clarinetist, five wind instruments and violin, ranges between original songs and the reworking of compositions that make the mountain the protagonist of the notes. The resulting music aims to recreate organicity of a choir, that of the Alpini, and this chorus is reworked in favor of popular themes that sing the deeds of men who they lived, and even fought there, in the mountains.
