Established in 2011, International Jazz Day aims to promote peace, dialogue, and cultural diversity through the universal language of jazz.

As part of the global celebration, jazz lovers are encouraged to support live music and experience the magic of jazz firsthand. One of the many exciting events taking place is a pop-up performance at the entrance to Central Park / Columbus Circle by world renowned jazz clarinetist / vocalist Rick Bogart and retired school teacher turned cabaret artist Louisa Lee Poster. Performance begins at 4pm and folks can expect to hear some of their favorites like What A Wonderful World, Blue Skies, Way Down Yander In New Orleans, amd Frankie & Johnny. So grab a friend and meet us outside at Columbus Circle!
