"1st Fridays Live at the Lyric" is presented by The Sunshine Jazz Organization monthly. Our venue houses Miami's Black Archives and the 110 year old Historic Lyric Theater. As the oldest Jazz entity in Miami-Dade County Florida, the Sunshine Jazz is celebrating our 37th year of presentations, community concerts, multicultural and educational programs and more. The Sunshine Jazz family partners with our South Florida fine arts community in bringing quality Jazz, Blues and Soul music to audiences of all ages. Our April 5th concert honoring International Jazz Month will feature inspirational vocal artist LaVie. A songstress with captivating stage presence and an infectious personality, "La Vie," meaning "The Life", suits her, perfectly.
