Uri Caine is a standout jazz pianist who has performed at many jazz festivals including The North Sea Jazz Festival, the Montreal and Monterey Jazz Festivals, as well as the San Sebastian Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, and classical festivals including The Salzburg Festival, Munich Opera, Holland Festival, Israel Festival, IRCAM, and Great Performers at Lincoln Center. Uri played in bands led by Philly Joe Jones, Hank Mobley, Johnny Coles, Mickey Roker, Odean Pope, Jymie Merritt, and Grover Washington. He appears here in a rare solo format giving his virtuosity all the room in the world to shine.
