As part of the Apopka Saturday Sounds series, celebrate jazz music with the world this International Jazz Day weekend! Enjoy classic, soul-stirring jazz music from HAPCO Music Foundation’s LeNard Rutledge & Friends. Join us at this free performance!
Miami vocalist LeNard Rutledge began his professional career as the featured vocalist for the famed Melton Mustafa Orchestra. As a HAPCO clinician, he teaches beginning percussion technique and proficiency and vocal technique. Performing with him: Michael Levine, Maikalo Kasha, Michael Harvey and Diron Holloway.
Bring blankets and chairs. Picnic baskets and coolers are permitted.
The show is presented in conjunction with the City of Apopka as part of their Saturday Sounds series.
