Flute/saxophonist/recording artist Charles Rahmat Woods follows up a fabulous concert appearance at the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival with his annual International Jazz Day cosmic music celebration! His ensemble (Peter Frassrand - piano, Emory Diggs - bass, Gus Johnson - drums, and special guest) presents original music and music written by Jazz musicians with Native American Indian heritage such as Oscar Pettiford, Don Cherry, Jim Pepper, Joy Harjo, and Larry Redhouse.
