WADA presents: O Som Do Jazz / Sincopa

WADA celebrates International Jazz Day, presenting a two-part event, with the Brazilian Jazz ensemble ‘O Som Do Jazz’, followed by the US premiere of the Mexican movie ‘Sincopa’. This new, Mexican independent film breaks away from Hollywood’s stereo-typical portrayal of the country and is essentially a film about friendship. The story revolves around a musician following his passion for jazz, even if it means going against the ‘rhythm of life’. Cinematographer and producer Antonio Mata, director Alan Gutierrez and actor Antonio Monroy will travel to St. Pete for this US premiere. Presented under the patronage of the Mexican Consulate
