In-Person

Domi Edson is an award-winning bassist, composer, and arranger now residing in Denver, CO. Since moving to Colorado, Domi has performed with artists such as Terrell Stafford, Charles McPherson, Greg Gisbert, Annie Booth, and others.

In high school Ray Brown thought of taking up the trombone, but could not afford one. With a vacancy in the high school jazz orchestra, he took up the double bass. Soon his career began to take shape. Ella Fitzgerald (whom he was briefly married to), Oscar Peterson, Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker were a few collaborators. From the mid-1970s until he died in 2002, Ray Brown remained one of the most prolific players of mainstream jazz.
