Jazz in the Schools at Ezra H. Baker Elementary School on Cape Cod, MA, USA
The Jazz in the Schools Program was started in 2014 by Bart Weisman, Founder, Executive Producer & Performer for the Provincetown Jazz Festival. For many children this is their first chance to hear live Jazz and participate in a program to learn about Jazz history and all styles of Jazz. This program is for the entire school and presented by Bart Weisman on drums, Fred Boyle on piano, and Rich Hill on bass, all from Cape Cod. Presentations have been made at public schools across Cape Cod and all of this at no cost to the schools. The program is funded by the non-profit Provincetown Jazz Festival.
