Celebrate the 103rd birthday of CHARLES MINGUS with the Alan Lewine Xtet playing Mingus-inspired music, and Soprano Meets Bass featuring Ana María Ruimonte, Spanish soprano, performing 9 Centuries of Music In About 1 Hour sung in English, Spanish and Ladino, including medieval, grand opera, Sephardic, Spanish, Cuban and Mexican songs plus a few from the Great American Songbook.
