Delfeayo Marsalis will host a special celebration of International Jazz Day featuring his award winning Uptown Jazz Orchestra (UJO) with special guests. The UJO is an all star ensemble of 18 aces from the New Orleans jazz community and each member is showcased during the show. Joining the band tonight will be 7 Time Grammy Award winner trumpeter Randy Brecker, International star of the guitar and oud Mahmoud Chouki, and New Orleans piano phenom and singer Davell Crawford.
Delfeayo is one of the top composers and producers in Jazz. Known for his technical excellence, inventive mind and frequent touches of humor, he is one of the most imaginative and musical of his generation.
