In-Person

Renée Collins Georges—vocalist, former Ray Charles Raelette, and realtor—is thrilled to present a free International Jazz Day concert for the residents of Bowie, Maryland (zip codes: 20715, 20716, 20717, 20720, 20721), proudly sponsored by a Community Arts Grant from the City of Bowie.

Join Renée and her ensemble GEORJAZZ, on an inspiring journey through a vibrant quilt of international jazz, spanning blues to Bossa, swing to salsa, bebop, Latin, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. Featuring Jazz Is Alive (C. Bailey) and Renée’s original composition, What Sound Does Your Color Make?—a thought-provoking piece written in 2020—this performance celebrates jazz’s diverse, unifying power to foster peace, dialogue, and cultural collaboration through music.
