International MAX-JAZZ Day – Tribute to Bruno Martino

This year the MUJIC Association wants to honor the memory of a great jazz player, Bruno Martino: in fact this year marks 100 years of his birthday. Bruno’s compositions have been of great insipiration for a lot of jazz musicians and his fomous track, “Estate”, became a jazz standard (the first arranged by João Gilberto). Massimo Urbani was touched by this song too.
MUJIC has decided to produce a CD with ones of the best tracks by Martino and rearranged by Fabio Morgera and executed by him together with Antonio Barbagallo and septet of great american players.
April, 30 will be the day of launch with a special concert in the evening.
It is an all day long event with opening at 11 with Boscolo photo-book, a movia at 18 and concert at 21
