Celebrating South African Jazz

"The World Leaders" invite you to join us during Jazz Appreciation Month for our "Celebrating South African Jazz" performances. This music is not only powerful and uplifting but much of it had a significant and meaningful role in helping South Africa transition to free and fair elections.
In addition to our stellar local musicians, we will be joined by two special guests: woodwind master Horace Alexander Young who was music director for 17 years for South African pianist/composer Abdullah Ibrahim, and multiple Grammy winner drummer Mark Walker.
