To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Count Basie Orchestra - Creative City KC will bring the band back home to Kansas City to perform in the very city where the band got its start. The Basie Orchestra will perform at the historic Music Hall in downtown Kansas City, Missouri - where Basie and the band played in April 1938. Creative City KC invites you to join us in Kansas City for this special celebration of International Jazz Day! The event will feature the Count Basie Orchestra in Kansas City, Missouri - the first UNESCO Creative City of Music in the United States. Join us to swing in style!
