Green City nace para llevar al directo la música de Grant Green, guitarrista estadounidense que grabó como líder y sideman muchísimos discos para el prestigioso sello discográfico Blue Note. Para la ocasión, la banda la forman Lucas de Mulder (Guitarra), Santi Sweetfingers (Bajo) y Javi Skunk (batería), músicos residentes en Madrid íntimamente relacionados con el sello discográfico Sweet Records y habituales de la escena de música negra.

Green City was born to bring the music of Grant Green, an American guitarist who recorded as a leader and sideman many albums for the prestigious Blue Note record label. For the occasion, the band is made up of Lucas de Mulder (Guitar), Santi Sweetfingers (Bass) and Javi Skunk (drums), Madrid-based musicians closely related to the Sweet Records record label and regulars on the black music scene.
