Belgian clarinetist and saxophonist Philippe Leblanc is currently on a mini tour in Spain's Alicante province. Happily, the residents assocation "Associació Veïnat d'Orbeta" has offered to host a Jazz Day event for the 30th April itself. Philippe is a world class clarinetist and saxphonist, performing assorted jazz repertoire, classical music and klezmer music with equal ease. He is also a part time member of Costa Blanca Stompers, a large collective which formed during the Pandemic. This is Philippe's third concert in Orba/Orbeta with CBS, but importantly CBS is showcasing Philippe on this occasion, and there will be some of his astonishing klezmer repertoire in the programme. The rest of the programme is dedicated to traditional jazz.
