The 2025 Black Hills Jazz Festival, spread out around 11 different venues in downtown Rapid City, South Dakota, is the first of its kind in the great plains state. Inspired by the New York City Winter Jazzfest, Portland Jazz Fest, Chicago Jazzfest, and many other brilliantly organized festivals centered around Black and Indigenous American Music, this small festival will showcase the brightest musicians from South Dakota.
