MEII Enterprises will show excerpts of the forthcoming feature-length documentary "Jazz in Arabic Culture" on Vimeo for the 24 hours of International Jazz Day 2025. The excerpts will include (but not limited to) the six-minute introduction to the documentary, several of the 32 interviews conducted for the documentary, a section explaining the fundamentals of maqam, the Arabic music tradition, and comments from several interviewees regarding the challenges and the future of jazz in the Arabic region. https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/1053972217.
