The Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene is pleased to present a Lunch & Learn presentation featuring the history of Mildred Bailey, a famous American jazz singer and a Coeur d’Alene Tribe member, presented by Dr. Gary Edwards, director and producer. Mildred Bailey had several number one hit songs on the radio between 1920 and 1950 and Bing Crosby even credited her with starting his career. Dr. Edwards will tell the story of the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Casino’s tribute to Mildred Bailey show. The program will take place from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene, 627 N. Government Way, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
