Terell Stafford Day

04/25 07:00

Philadelphia , PA

In-Person

The Germantown Jazz Festival in its 2nd year is a 3 day Community Celebration of Jazz in the historic section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Home of jazz luminaries like Sun Ra, John Coltrane, Trudy Pitts, Shirley Scott, Stanley Turrentine, Lee Morgan, Ornette Coleman, Grover Washington, Philly Joe Jones and Christian McBride to name few.

Professor Terell Stafford is a modern day keeper of the Philly Jazz flame. An extraordinarily strong trumpeter, composer, educator and band leader, travels extensively with his music and has lead his university students to international acclaim.

We are happy and proud to honor him with the dedication of his own day of honor and performance. Please enjoy a clip of him with his all-star Philly quintet.
