What does Alaskan music sound like? It sounds like Spenard Jazz Fest! Funk, swing, fusion, contemporary, R&B, jazz, acoustic, electronic, solo acts, duos, trios, vocal acts, full bands…..
play for two full weekends in Anchorage in eleven venues.
This year’s Spenard Jazz Fest (May 28 – June 07) – the 19th annual – boasts the biggest ever roster of Alaskan artists, with over 50 performances and workshops; house concerts, yard parties, jams, public park events, First Friday, bar gigs and dance parties.
With good music comes good food and good community.
On Thursday April 30th we reveal this year’s schedule to press, funders, musicians and friends of Spenard Jazz Fest .
