Broadcasting from Utrecht and New York City, Dutch-American jazz vocalist and songwriter Louise Alexandra welcomes acclaimed vocalist and educator Alexis Cole to celebrate International Jazz Day and the release of “Someone,” Louise’s original composition newly recorded by Alexis (out April 30). Alexis will perform the song live.
Their collaboration grew out of years of connection within the vocal jazz community, from Jocelyn Medina’s online Sunday Vocal Jazz Jam, to Alexis’ JazzVoice platform and the Vocal Jazz Summit. About music, community, and finding the ones — your vocal jazz tribe — “who see (& sing) life the way you do”.
