SOUTH Restaurant & Jazz Club, in partnership with The Unscripted Jazz Series, will host a special International Jazz Day concert featuring acclaimed bassist Gerald Veasley and the legendary Randy Brecker, celebrating jazz’s global legacy and Philadelphia’s rich musical heritage. The evening will include brief reflections on jazz’s cultural impact and community engagement. A portion of proceeds will benefit Jazz Bridge, a nonprofit supporting jazz musicians in crisis for over 20 years. The event advances jazz as performance, mentorship, and cultural dialogue.
