UVM Jazz Combos in Concert: Guitar Ensemble and the Post Bop Ensemble

This year the University of Vermont celebrates 100 years of music education. The music area in the School of the Arts offers a wide variety of music ensembles for majors as well as non-majors. At present, UVM offers performance opportunities in the following: symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, concert band, 2 vocal choruses and chamber music groups. On the jazz side of things we offer a Jazz Vocal Ensemble, University Jazz Ensemble (big band), Guitar Ensemble, Nonet, Latin Jazz Ensemble and a 7 piece ensemble which focuses on Jazz vocals in a small group setting.
The concert slated for the 30th of April will feature the Guitar Ensemble as well as the Post Bop Ensemble.
