The city of Chieti (Italy) decides to celebrate the International Jazz Day together with the Liberation of Italy and Europe from Nazifascism, which took place exactly 80 years ago.
As a matter of fact, on April 25th 1945, the Allied army entered to Italy liberating our country and therefore the sound of Jazz started finally to spread all over Italy. Our city, Chieti, is happy to join this important worldwide event IJD , sharing and believing in values that Jazz pursues: Peace, Unity, Creativity and Freedom.
