Jazz with Pizzaz – Goa celebrates International Jazz Day

India's tiny beach state, Goa, has grown to become a major jazz hub recently in the last 2 years. In light of this, the jazz community in Goa along with Hideaway Goa (one of Goa's most revered venues for live gigs and jazz) have come together to put up a grand celebration on International Jazz Day. 3 different acts whose repertoire consists of jazz or have major jazz influences in them, will bring their magic on to the stage in what is going to be 3 hours of absolute bliss and madness: Sambucada (traditional Brazilian & Brazilian Jazz), Many Roots Ensemble (afrobeat, Indo-jazz fusion, world) and then we have certain musicians from the Goan jazz community performing a set dedicated to the late Wayne Shorter.
