Il Jazzofono is one of the few Italian radio programs on jazz music.
It is broadcast every Sunday evening on the Venetian broadcaster Radio Café and thanks to the DAB+ transmission system it can be listened to in many of the main Italian cities.
The broadcast is hosted by its creators Dario Barollo and Nick Ferrauto, but the team also includes Benedetto del Castillo, Massimo Arpa and Giancarlo Lago, who is also station manager for Radio Cafè Jazz, our channel dedicated to jazz which can be accessed worldwide from the websites www.radiocafe.it and www.radiocafejazz.it
Il Jazzofono participates in International Jazz Day 2025, with an episode in which it presents a playlist composed of Italian jazz musicians entitled “Jazz in Italy”.
