Yrēfy Scottsdale Jazz Festival | Talking Stick Resort
The celebration on April 11 with the Yrēfy 9th Annual Scottsdale Jazz Festival, hosted at Talking Stick Resort, marks the festival’s first year at our new home venue.
The event brings the sound and spirit of New Orleans to Arizona with a lineup led by the legendary New Orleans “Big Three”: Kermit Ruffins, Nayo Jones, Big Chief Donald Harrison, Mike Rocha
They are joined by Grammy Award–winning jazz fusion group Spyro Gyra, creating a dynamic evening of traditional jazz, contemporary fusion, and cultural celebration.
This year’s festival will also honor Russell “Big Chief” Moore, the first Native American jazz musician to perform with Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, and Frank Sinatra.
