In celebration of International Jazz Day (April 30, 2026), Sky Covington’s Preservation of Jazz, in partnership with LadyLove Music®, Aretha’s Jazz Café, and Cafe Chronicles, presents a powerful cultural experience honoring jazz past and future. The evening features A Great Day in Metro Detroit Jazz Photograph, inspired by the iconic Harlem image, followed by Out of the Mouth of Babes, where rising young artists embody jazz legends like Billie Holiday and Nat King Cole. This event unites community, preserves legacy, and celebrates the next generation of jazz.
