Once again, Brisbane's digital community radio service, MBS Light, will be joining the world-wide celebration of International Jazz Day with a six hour broadcast from studios in the Brisbane suburb of Coorparoo. Hosted by national community radio jazz presenter, John Diegan, the broadcast will acknowledge the invaluable contributions of healthcare workers during the COVID pandemic as well as the efforts of volunteers in the aftermath of recent devastating floods in south east Queensland and northern New South Wales. Two live broadcasts from the Brisbane Jazz Club (temporarily relocated following flood damage) will include performances by the .ever popular Galapagos Duck and others.
