Jamie Davis celebrates International Day of Jazz

Jamie Davis, Grammy Award recipient and world renowned former vocalist for the legendary Count Basie Orchestra is honored to introduce the Sacramento community to its first International Day of Jazz. Accompanying him on this magical evening is his star-studded band composed of Dr. Glen Pearson, Leon Joyce, Ron Belcher and Richard Howell. A guest appearance will also be made by Sacramento’s very own jazz treasure, the notable Vivian Lee, who is the essential force in keeping classic jazz alive in her hometown.
The jazz enthusiast in attendance at the intimate Guild Theater can expect to be immersed in jazz classics, & ballads as well as bossa and swing performed by this incomparable lineup of jazz performers. This event is selling out fast.
