groov jazz experience is a new configuration of four venerable southern Illinois jazz musicians playing a spectrum of neo bop to contemporary jazz. To celebrate International Jazz Day, groov will be jamming for three sets at Hangar 9, presenting both originals and choice standards, and doing its best to uphold the spirit of this transformative music.
