Doc Jones and the International Jazz Day AZ Foundation celebrate the 15th Anniversary of UNESCO International Jazz Day, honoring jazz as a powerful global language of unity, education, and cultural diplomacy. For fifteen years, this movement has brought communities together through world-class performances, youth education, and international collaboration—positioning Arizona as a proud part of a worldwide celebration of jazz and its enduring impact. We have been uniting the state around April 30th. We are proud to have passed a bill, HCR2017, declaring April 30th as Jazz Day in Arizona.
