Celebrating International Jazz Day, the fantastic, young pianist and organist Leonieke Scheuble, a true bright light on the scene, will present her 3 Generations of Jazz, which will include and honor the legendary bassist, Bill Crow.

Mr. Crow, who just turned 98 years of age in December, is perhaps best known as the long-time bassist in the famous Gerry Mulligan groups of the 1950's and 1960's. As a bassist, has also played and recorded with Stan Getz, Al Haig, Marian McPartland, Benny Goodman, Mose Allison, and many others. Throughout his long career, Mr. Crow has also performed as a trumpeter, saxophonist, trombonist, drummer, and singer. he is also an educator and author of two books.
