Once again The Illicit Grooves Radio Show will participate in #JazzDay with a special show on Blue-in-Green Radio. This year the show will be showcasing young Jazz artists who are current and alumni members respectively of the Tomorrow’s Warriors Jazz education organisation and/or the Jazz Re:Freshed organisation.
Both of the above are massively fundemental to bringing the youth into Jazz as performers, participants and audiences by their respective philosphies of promoting and education Jazz in inner-city settings and paying particular attention to the young, to Black, to female and to working class talent and giving opportunities to play jazz and to learn the business and to play as professional musicians.
