‘Sing Your Song’ outlines the life and times of one of America’s most phenomenal individuals, known across the globe for his gift as singer, stage and screen actor, civil rights campaigner and humanitarian! This outstanding documentary film, directed by filmmaker Susanne Rostock, permits deep reflection on his life, a life very much in the public eye, during some of the most turbulent years in modern US history. It is rather understated that Harry Belafonte was one of the most popular recording artistes in US music and established a well-respected reputation in American theatre!

‘I knew Charlie Parker, and he gave us such a gift with his music. He put so much into so little space, and it was tragic that he died so young.’
Harry Belafonte
