The Sunrise Trio is a modern jazz trio that seamlessly navigates between moments of intimacy, silence and powerful energy. This results in a dynamic musical journey with plenty of room for ensemble playing and improvisation. The band’s current project „Silent Film meets Modern Jazz” showcases the Sunrise Trio’s ability to fuse visual storytelling and the world of music. In this project, they composed music for the iconic silent film Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans. Their compositions breathe new life into this classic cinematic masterpiece. By combining sound and image, they add even greater emotional depth to the acting and provide the audience with a unique audiovisual experience.
