The Kjetil Mulelid Trio released their debut album „Not Nearly Enough To Buy A House” in 2017 on the renowned Norwegian label Rune Grammofon, known for their selection of the best Scandinavian experimental electronic, jazz and improvisational music. Their debut has received widespread international acclaim, with critics most notably mentioning Keith Jarrett and Bill Evans. The emphasis in the trio’s music is on classical acoustic piano, with Mulelid’s captivating compositions in particular, balancing energetic, rhythmically complex and harmonically rich music with beautiful, suggestive melodies.
