It is a joint work dedicated to monitoring the work of maestro Armando Núñez Portillo Mandis, a famous master of the jazz movement in Chihuahua. His work in jazz education is valued and referenced nationally and internationally. FIJAN intends to continue increasing and revaluing jazz and popular music within the big state. It is an event oriented for the university community and for the Chihuahuan public in general, lover of spontaneous musical expression: jazz.
The Festival lasts five days, from Wednesday April 26 to Sunday April 30, where there will be different activities such as concerts, master classes, round tables, jam sessions, forums, exhibitions, among others, where the community involved can share experiences. and aesthetics.
