The Pico Zen Festival, which has been held since 2018 on the island of Pico, has teamed up with Lava - Pico International Jazz Festival, which has been taking place since 2019, to promote, for the first time, an event linked to jazz and the promotion of its values. On International Jazz Day and within the scope of the Pico Zen Festival, which takes place from April 27th to 30th, we invite the Youth Orchestra of Escola Básica e Secundária de São Roque do Pico to present a repertoire in homage to great jazz composers such as Herbie Hancock.
