Jeb Patton és un dels pianistes més brillants i fidel a la gloriosa tradició del piano-jazz. El seu estil beu directament de les arrels del bop amb referents ineludibles com ara Tomy Flanagan i Horace Silver, i el llegat de Charlie Parker, però també el de Duke Ellington i Jimmy Heath, adquireixen a les mans de Patton una lectura actual i molt viva. Patton ha col·laborat amb George Coleman, Frank Wess, James Moody i és destacable el seu treball amb Heath Brothers durant més de vint anys.
Jeb Patton is one of the most brilliant pianists and faithful to the glorious tradition of piano-jazz. His style draws directly from the roots of bop with inescapable references such as Tommy Flanagan and Horace Silver, and the legacy of Charlie Parker.
