International Jazz Day is celebrated in scenic Don Salvador Benedicto in the Philippines with a jazz photography exhibit, specially-prepared International Jazz Day gourmet dishes, jazz performances and a jam at Kusinata, an ethnic fusion restaurant fronting the rainforest and waterfalls. The event is aptly launched as JAZZ IN PARADISE. Filipino and US jazz artists have volunteered to perform for this benefit event, in creating a medical assistance fund for the Ata tribe indigenous people of this mountain municipality.
