Celebrate Jazz Day speakeasy-style this year as the return of international touring brings Canadian songstress Tia Brazda to B-Flat in Berlin! Her sparkly brand of vintage jazzpop will surely charm fans of Caro Emerald and Hot Sardines, but plenty remains to enjoy for hardcore jazz fans as Brazda presents her upcoming album, When I Get Low (May 27).
The album is a treasure trove of vocal jazz standards, reimagined for modern times with that playful twist that brought Brazda and her band to stages all over Canada and the US, to the famous Montreux Jazz Festival and many other venues in Europe.
Joined by her original band as well as Berlin-based pianist Béla Meinberg, join Tia for a sassy, cheerful approach to pop, Bossa Nova, and jazz!
