jazz.grafing e.V. celebrates the IJD 22 for the fifth time, honouring "100 years of Charles Mingus", a good reason to put his music back in the center of the jazz public. And it it makes sense to fall back on the excellent and proven local jazz musician, who tours constantly the whole world, the Bass-Player and Jazz-Professor Mr. Martín Zenker, whose “Charles Mingus Ensemble” will be now performing the Opus 'The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady' in the Grafing City Library.
"As musical director of this orchestra, I could not wish for more suitable fellow musicians than these 11 young artists", says Prof. Zenker.
The suite 'The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady' is considered the masterpiece of the American bassist, composer and poet.
