Three musicians, one shared breath. The trio led by Pablo Murgier draws on precise composition to open up vast spaces of freedom, where sound flows, transforms, and builds tension. The music moves forward through contrasts, shifting between bold rhythmic surges and more restrained passages, always guided by a strong collective identity.
Pablo Murgier’s compositions serve as a framework for deeply interactive playing. The pianist initiates open forms, which Brazilian drummer Miguel Couto energizes with a flexible and instinctive rhythmic approach, while double bassist Romain Lécuyer weaves a dense and fluid soundscape. Nothing is set in stone: everything is built in the moment, through listening to one another.
