In-Person

We started celebrating Jazz Day around six or seven years ago. This year we are paying a special tribute to local trombonist Michel Farabeau, a pioneer of jazz music in Seychelles. His iconic improvisation skills and excellent musicianship was a great influence for other musicians who were exploring this musical genre. Though our Jazz association Jazzchelles has not yet managed to firmly establish itself, it has sow a seed which we hope would grow and bear many good fruits . As small country we are overjoy to be part of that international event, celebrating that Universal language that units us all.
